About Lathams

Lathams was established over 35 years ago and since its inception has been dedicated to the creative re-use of land and buildings. We specialise in the analysis of context and the design of environments that respond sympathetically. We maintain our commitment to evidence-based design and spatial strategies that can help to unlock the full potential of places. We recognise the importance of research and learning in helping to support the way in which we work, and many of those in our team teach or lecture at local universities.

Our Team

We pride ourselves on the quality of our people; we have a close knit team with a friendly studio atmosphere. We believe in transparency and honesty; with our staff, our clients and our collaborators.

As an Employee Ownership Trust, Lathams is run for the benefit of its employees and we encourage staff to actively engage with all parts of the business.

We care about place

Whether it’s a town centre, neighbourhood, listed building or garden, we believe that good design stems from places and people who reside there. Lathams can help unlock the full potential of your land or building.
