Urban strategies for the future of the city
Lathams worked with Derby City Council to produce an ambition document for the city centre, setting out strategies for the future of the urban environment. The Ambition document was produced following extensive engagement with key stakeholders throughout 2021. There was a strong consensus from stakeholders on what the key problems in the city are and a general agreement that a bold, transformative approach is needed. The Ambition document was structured to show how the emerging ideas have developed from discussions with stakeholders and a review of evidence, and is set out in the following chapters: Spatial Overview; Current Initiatives; Challenges and Opportunities; Our Ambition; Delivery.
In addition to this, Lathams also supported the Council with the production of presentation boards for use at their public consultation events.
