Lathams secured planning consent for 13 contemporary houses on a steeply sloping site on the edge of Castle Donington.
Scale
13 large bespoke family dwellings
The properties are designed to take full advantage of their position on an attractive wooded slope, with extensive views across playing fields to the north.
The scheme includes a number of landscape enhancements to help promote biodiversity and safeguard the setting of the development - these include habitat creation measures, extensive new tree planting, and natural swales with marginal planting in combination with new sustainable drainage features.
In addition, a new public footpath is proposed, allowing access through the site for the wider community, to the local sport and recreation facilities.
Planning permission for a further property has recently been secured and work will commence on site imminently.
"The team at Lathams has added significant value, helping to gain planning permission for an imaginative new housing scheme, on a very challenging site. I have very much enjoyed working with them and look forward to our next venture..."
